What are OceanSafe™ sunglasses?
Our sunglasses are ocean-friendly in 14 ways. Our favorite is that they're made without toxins found in other companies' frames—like BPA and Diethyl Phthalate. So you don't have toxins resting on your skin all day. We make frames from a special plant pulp that is normally a waste product. Our entire business model and products are designed to cause as little harm to oceans as possible. Our shipping boxes are printed in ocean-friendly Algae ink invented in 2019. We even do some good by planting 10 trees with your order to prevent ocean acidification and donate 1% of your order to ocean-related nonprofits.
What's your warranty?
Feel confident in your purchase with a 1-year manufacturer warranty against any defects in materials or workmanship. So if the materials in your sunglasses aren't right or the sunglasses aren't put together correctly, we'll repair or replace them. We don't cover normal wear and tear. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims, so don't delete your email receipt. What's the return policy?
Enjoy a 30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee. Try on our shades at home completely risk free. If you do not completely love them, we will take them back and give you a full refund. They must have no signs of wear or damage. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable because the post office doesn't refund shipping to us. We offer free shipping in the US and easy flat rate international options.
What if my frames are slightly crooked?
Our frames are made from renewable plant pulp—and without toxins found in other sunglasses (BPA and Diethyl Phthalate). Sometimes these frames can lose shape during shipping for various reasons. If this happened to your shades, most local opticians will fit them to your face for free using a frame warmer. The embedded steel skeleton will then retain the fit.
How do I change or cancel my order?
If for any reason you would like to change your order, please contact customer happiness at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible. We will make every effort to accommodate your request. However, please keep in mind our system is designed to fulfill orders as quickly as possible. As a result, we cannot cancel or change an order once it has left our hands. Please note, if your order cannot be delivered to you due to an inaccurate shipping address, we are not liable for any lost or stolen parcels so double check it!
How do I know my frames will fit?
Use our "Fit Guide" located on each frame's page. For larger faces or if you like big lenses with lots of shade, we recommend the McWay Falls or Big Sur frames. For smaller faces, try the Pfeiffer - Small or Sykes frames. The Sand Dollars and Bixby Bridges are a perfect medium.
How do I get my frames adjusted?
Our frames contain a steel skeleton that can be fitted to your face through minor adjustments. This is done using a frame warmer. Many local optical shops will provide this service for free.
What type of lenses come with my sunglasses?
Our Modernized Polarized Lenses provide superior performance to ANY other option. They pass our high standards for optical clarity, weight, and strength. They are equal in optical clarity with glass, yet are 1/2 the weight for all-day comfort. We like that they're more shatter-resistant than glass too, keeping you safe.
What's Modern Polarization?
The polarization is layered into the lens so it doesn't peel. All our sunglasses are outfitted with Modernized Polarized Lenses.
How do I clean my lenses?
1) Rinse them with clean water to clear debris. 2) Use clean fingers and a mild dish soap (that doesn't contain lotion) to gently remove smudges. 3) Shake off excess water and dry them with your clean microfiber cloth.
Can I order prescription lenses?
While we do not offer prescriptions at this time, your frames can be filled by a local optician with your prescription. Your vision insurance may pay for this or there are companies that outfit frames with prescriptions as well.

When will I receive my order?
Shipping within the US typically takes 3-7 days. Shipping outside the US typically takes 5-20 days. You will receive tracking information via email within 24-48 hrs of placing your order. In an effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, we don't offer two day shipping at this time.
Where is my package?
